Andreas Pereira enjoying Louis van Gaal relationship

Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira says that he is pleased with how he is developing under Louis van Gaal's management.

Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira has revealed that he is enjoying working under Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford.

The 19-year-old, who joined Man United from PSV Eindhoven in 2011, has made two first-team appearances for his English club this season, including in the Champions League against Wolfsburg.

Pereira is also expected to be involved in Wednesday's League Cup clash with Middlesbrough, and the Belgian has said that he is pleased with his development under Van Gaal.

"Of course, it's good to work with the manager here. He'll bring you into the team if you do well and train well. I have a trust with him and it's a nice feeling to work with someone who will give you the opportunity," Pereira told United Review.

"If you do something wrong, he will tell you and, if you do something right, he will tell you. He helps you with everything. United have helped make me the player I am today. They [told] me everything that I had to learn and I'm learning every day here.

"At United, they teach me about things off the pitch as well, how to deal with stuff with your family and how to be a man. That part is very important, not just the football side but off the pitch as well."

Pereira is currently contracted to Man United until June 2018.
