Former Manchester United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar has called Louis van Gaal the "best manager" he has ever worked under.
Van Gaal has been heavily linked with the vacant job at Old Trafford next season, and Van der Sar, who played under his Dutch compatriot at Ajax, praised the Netherlands boss.
The Mirror quotes the former keeper as saying: "I will say more about Louis and United once his appointment his official
"But I have made it clear here before that Louis van Gaal is the best manager I have ever played for."
Van Gaal will step down from his post as Oranje coach after the World Cup.
