Saturday's Premier League predictions including Manchester United vs. Chelsea

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Saturday's Premier League action, including Manchester United vs. Chelsea.

West Ham vs. Man City (Saturday, 12.30pm)

West Ham United welcome Manchester City to the London Stadium on Saturday lunchtime looking to extend an impressive three-game unbeaten run in the Premier League.

The Hammers have a dreadful record against this weekend's opponents in recent times, but go into this game sitting above them in the table for the first time since March 2009.

We say: West Ham United 1-2 Manchester City

This is a much more difficult fixture to predict now than it has been in recent years, when Man City have run riot. Guardiola's side have injury problems and West Ham will be full of confidence, but we are still backing the visitors to have enough to squeeze out a victory.

It is unlikely to be quite as emphatic as it has been in recent times, but Man City showed last weekend against Arsenal that they are capable of grinding out a result and we expect them to do the same here.

Our tipster partners are predicting an away win.

Fulham vs. Crystal Palace (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Fulham welcome Crystal Palace and former manager Roy Hodgson back to Craven Cottage on Saturday in a Premier League London derby.

Hodgson returns with his Palace side having picked up seven points from their five games so far, whereas Scott Parker - more than 33 years his opposite number's junior - is looking to lift Fulham off the foot of the table.

We say: Fulham 1-2 Crystal Palace

Fulham looked better against Sheffield United, both at the back and going forward, and they will fancy their chances of at least getting on the scoresheet in this match.

However, while Palace's goalscoring record away from home is poor they still have the firepower to hurt what has been a leaky Fulham defence, and so we are backing the visitors to come away with all three points.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Man Utd vs. Chelsea (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Manchester United welcome fellow top-four hopefuls Chelsea to Old Trafford on Saturday for the headline fixture of gameweek six of the 2020-21 Premier League season.

The Red Devils go into the match off the back of a memorable Champions League triumph in Paris, while Chelsea were held to a goalless draw by Sevilla in midweek.

We say: Manchester United 2-2 Chelsea

Manchester United will justifiably be full of confidence after their win over PSG in midweek, but it is impossible to ignore their home form, which has seen them lose both Premier League games at Old Trafford this season by an aggregate scoreline of 9-2.

Chelsea are by no means away-day specialists themselves, but their matches guarantee goals at the moment and, with major question marks hanging over both defences, we can see an entertaining score draw on the cards here.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Liverpool vs. Sheff Utd (Saturday, 8.00pm)

Premier League champions Liverpool welcome Sheffield United to Anfield on Saturday evening looking to return to winning ways in the top flight.

Jurgen Klopp's side were held to a contentious 2-2 draw by Everton in the Merseyside derby last weekend, but will be heavy favourites to beat a Sheffield United side with only one point to their name so far.

We say: Liverpool 2-0 Sheffield United

Sheffield United rarely get heavily beaten, but this looks like a tall order for them to get anything out of the game. The Blades have really struggled so far this season and, while their hosts are weakened by injury, it would still be a major shock if they came away from Anfield with even a point.

For Liverpool it looks like an ideal contest against the division's lowest scorers, and with Mohamed Salah in good goalscoring form we expect the champions to return to winning ways in the league.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.
