Officials from Atletico Madrid have reportedly refused to answer speculation that has linked their striker Radamel Falcao with a summer transfer to Manchester United.
The Colombian international has long been touted as a target of Chelsea and Manchester City, but reports in Spain this morning have claimed that the Premier League leaders are now the favourites to secure his services.
However, when asked by Sky Sports News about the rumour, a source close to the club declined to make a definitive comment.
"The rumours are habitual about our player, but now Atletico are only focused on the sporting question and not about the subject of the transfer market," said the source.
Falcao is believed to have a release clause in his Atletico contract that is worth £50m.
