Thiago Alcantara will reportedly sign for Bayern Munich today.
The Barcelona playmaker has been a target for Manchester United all summer but the Red Devils now appear to have missed out on the 22-year-old, with reports in Italy claiming that he will officially become a Bayern player in the next 24 hours.
Bayern coach Pep Guardiola revealed his interest in Thiago on Thursday, and the Spaniard will join the European champions after they triggered his €18m (£15m) release clause, according to Sky Sport Italia.
Thiago was part of the Spain Under-21 side that won the European Championships this summer and scored a hat-trick in the final against Italy.
