Isaac Cuenca insists that he is happy and dismisses rumours of him leaving Barcelona and making a move to England.

Isaac Cuenca has dismissed reports claiming that he is ready to leave Barcelona in favour of a move to England.

The 20-year-old winger burst onto the scene after making his debut in October 2011 and has impressed in his appearances so far.

The Spanish Under-21s international's contract runs out in the summer and the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal are reportedly interested in acquiring the youngster. However, Cuenca insists that he wants to remain at the Nou Camp.

"My deal will end in June but my plan is to remain at Barca," he told COM Radio.

"My desire is to sign a new contract and conversations regarding a new deal are very advanced. For me to be in this team is a dream and now I need to prove to the coach that he was right to have trust in me.

"I am very happy with how 2011 went for me; it was incredible and will be impossible to forget."

Cuenca joined Barcelona in 2003 when he was a 12-year-old.
