Eight first-team players at Manchester United are actively looking to leave the club as soon as possible, according to a report.

Eight first-team players at Manchester United are reportedly actively looking to leave the club as soon as possible.

Anthony Martial has already signalled a desire to move on during the January transfer window, while the futures of Dean Henderson, Donny van de Beek, Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard continue to be called into question.

According to The Express, there are currently as many as eight players at the club keen to leave amid suggestions of a dressing-room divide at Old Trafford.

Cristiano Ronaldo's return to the club has allegedly caused tensions at the club, while there are also believed to be 'several small cliques' forming in the dressing room.

Mata and Lingard are both out of contract at the end of the current season, and the pair have been linked with moves to Real Sociedad and West Ham United respectively during the January window.

Henderson and Van de Beek are also out of favour at the club, but interim head coach Ralf Rangnick is keen to keep both players at Old Trafford at least until the end of the 2021-22 campaign.
