Report: Manchester United defender Eric Bailly on Chelsea, Arsenal radar

Manchester United defender Eric Bailly is believed to be a transfer target for Premier League rivals Chelsea and Arsenal.

Manchester United defender Eric Bailly has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Chelsea and Arsenal.

The Ivory Coast international has not been involved in the Premier League for the Red Devils since April 7 and has not even made the squad for two of the team's last four league fixtures.

Although Jose Mourinho has claimed that Bailly is not being picked as much because he does not need fine-tuning for the World Cup, doubt remains around the player's future at Old Trafford.

According to ESPN, both London clubs are monitoring Bailly's situation at Man United and are prepared to swoop should the centre-back become surplus to Mourinho's requirements.

The 24-year-old has largely impressed since joining the Red Devils from Villarreal in 2016, making 54 appearances in all competitions.
