Inter Milan have reportedly won the race to sign Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen during one of the next two transfer windows.
Despite their best efforts, Spurs have accepted that the playmaker has no intention of extending his contract, which is due to expire at the end of the season.
While Manchester United and Real Madrid have been linked with the Denmark international, Inter Milan have now emerged as Eriksen's most likely destination.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the 27-year-old has agreed to pen a four-and-a-half-year deal with the Italian giants worth £6.5m per season.
However, the report claims that Spurs are yet to give the green light to a January exit as they demand £17m for the long-serving player's signature.
Eriksen is said to be keen to leave North London before the end of the month, while Spurs may be more open to a sale if they can push through the transfer of Benfica's Gedson Fernandes.
