Sir Alex Ferguson says that he is looking to make more new signings ahead of the upcoming Premier League season.

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has said that more new signings could be arriving at Old Trafford this summer.

The Red Devils today unveiled Shinji Kagawa and Nick Powell in front of the press cameras, but refused to rule out the possibility of adding further names to his squad.

"We could possibly bring one, maybe two, more in," said Ferguson.

"When there's a major international tournament on, there's a delay in the transfer market. But now the European Championships are over, we're trying to bring someone in.

"We've always done well in terms of getting players at the end of season, instead of waiting all summer."

United have been linked with Tottenham Hotspur playmaker Luka Modric and Arsenal forward Robin van Persie.
