Kingsley Coman has insisted that he remains content at Bayern Munich, but the winger has refused to rule out a future move to the Premier League.

Following spells with Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus, Coman joined Bayern in 2015 and has since made a total of 286 appearances for the German giants in all competitions, scoring 62 goals and registering 66 assists.

The 27-year-old has won a total of 25 trophies during his professional career, including 19 with Bayern, most notably celebrating eight Bundesliga titles and a Champions League triumph in 2019-20.

Coman has been continuously linked with a potential exit from Bayern amid reported interest from a number of clubs in the Premier League and across Europe.

The likes of Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Barcelona and Real Madrid have all been credited with an interest in Coman in previous transfer windows.

Coman seemingly ended speculation surrounding his future when he extended his Bayern contract until June 2027 shortly after the 2022 World Cup, and the winger has since confirmed that several clubs were interested in his services.

"There were many teams that wanted me, not just in England. I can't say who," Coman said in an interview with Sky Sports.

"I won't say I was close to leaving, but when you arrive at the end of your contract you think about all of your options, what goals you have and if you want to try something else.

"At the end if I sign for Bayern for five years it is because at the time I felt like staying at Bayern was the best for my career and me personally. That is why I chose this. "

Nevertheless, Coman has admitted that he is intrigued by the prospect of playing for a Premier League club in the future.

"I would say it is in the back of my head," the Frenchman added. "What I love about football is the intensity of the game, the challenge.

"The Premier League is one of the leagues, if not the league, with the most challenges and intensity. It is definitely a league I would like to play in one day but you don't know what could happen in football. I could stay in Bayern and be the happiest ever."

Coman, who is also an admirer of La Liga, is aware that he could become the first player to win a title in each of Europe's top-five leagues, adding: "If I win in Spain and England then have the five titles – I don't know if many players did it. I don't think a lot did it, maybe none."

Bayern's No.11 is expected to be involved in Thomas Tuchel's squad for Tuesday night's Champions League group-stage encounter with Man United at Old Trafford, a game which the Red Devils must win to have any hope of reaching the last 16.
