Leeds United, Brighton & Hove Albion eyeing Dean Henderson loan deal?

Leeds United and Brighton & Hove Albion are reportedly exploring the possibility of taking Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson on loan from January.

Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson is reportedly a January loan target for Leeds United and Brighton & Hove Albion.

The highly-rated Englishman is currently second fiddle to David de Gea at Old Trafford and has been restricted to appearances in the EFL Cup and one Champions League outing so far this season.

The Red Devils are said to view Henderson as a plan for the future while De Gea retains the number one jersey, but with the Euros looming large, Henderson will understandably be desperate for more game time to stake a claim for an England place.

According to The Sun, Leeds and Brighton are both keen to help Henderson's cause with a January loan swoop for the 23-year-old, although Sergio Romero's desire to leave Old Trafford is complicating matters.

The report also claims that Bournemouth hold an interest in Henderson, but the England international is intent on getting first-team action in the Premier League this season.

The Red Devils shot-stopper recently earned his first England cap as he replaced Nick Pope for the second half of England's 3-0 friendly victory over the Republic of Ireland earlier this month.
