Jesse Lingard will reportedly hold talks with Manchester United over his future when he returns to the club for pre-season training next month.
The 28-year-old spent the second half of the 2020-21 campaign on loan at West Ham United, scoring nine times and registering five assists in 16 appearances for the Hammers in all competitions.
David Moyes's side are keen to sign the England international on a permanent deal, but Lingard is believed to have told Man United that he wants to remain at Old Trafford.
There is uncertainty over the attacker's long-term future, though, as his contract is due to expire next June.
According to the Daily Mail, Lingard will hold discussions with the 20-time English champions upon his return to the club for the start of pre-season next month.
The report claims that Man United are yet to make a firm decision on the attacker, who could potentially be a part of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first-team plans next term.
Lingard was ultimately left out of the final England squad for the European Championship.
