Liverpool are "very interested" in signing Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham, according to German journalist Christian Falk.
Bellingham has starred for BVB since arriving from Birmingham City in July 2020, contributing six goals and eight assists in 54 appearances for the Bundesliga giants in all competitions.
The 18-year-old is believed to be admired by a number of Premier League clubs, with the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City all linked with moves.
According to Falk, Liverpool are also "very interested" in the England international, but it is likely that the youngster will spend at least one more full season with Dortmund.
"Of course it's true, Liverpool are very interested, but Jurgen Klopp has inhibitions about signing Dortmund players," Falk told Bild. "The contact with the club is also relatively good, so that will be difficult, especially since he still has a longer contract.
"I think he will end up on the island at some point, but, unlike [Erling Braut] Haaland, Dortmund fans can be hopeful that he will definitely play at least one more season."
Bellingham has scored twice and registered four assists in eight appearances for BVB at the start of the 2021-22 campaign.
