Manchester City 'told to pay £23m for Nicolas Tagliafico'

Manchester City will reportedly have to pay £23m if they wish to complete a deal for Ajax defender Nicolas Tagliafico this summer.

Manchester City are reportedly contemplating an official approach for Ajax defender Nicolas Tagliafico.

The Argentina international has been linked with a number of Premier League clubs this summer, including Manchester United and Leicester City.

However, neither club have followed up their initial interest, leaving the door open for the 28-year-old to move to another side in England.

According to the Daily Mail, City may be prepared to move for Tagliafico if they offload Oleksandr Zinchenko over the coming days.

Should City make contact with Ajax, the Dutch giants will allegedly demand £23m for one of their star men.

Tagliafico has contributed 12 goals and 15 assists from his 101 appearances for Ajax in all competitions.
