Manchester United will not sell Scott McTominay this summer unless they receive an offer of at least £50m, according to a report.

Manchester United will reportedly refuse to sell Scott McTominay during this summer's transfer window unless they receive an offer of at least £50m.

The Scotland international's future is currently the subject of much speculation, with a number of clubs, including Newcastle United and West Ham United, said to be keen on his services.

McTominay has again been a regular for Man United this season, making 35 appearances in all competitions, scoring three goals and one assist in the process.

However, he has only started 10 Premier League matches this term, with Casemiro, Christian Eriksen and Bruno Fernandes among those ahead of him in the pecking order.

Casemiro's recent suspension, and Eriksen's ankle injury, has allowed McTominay to start Man United's last three league games, and he was on the scoresheet against Everton on Saturday.

Eriksen made his return in the 2-0 success over the Toffees, though, and Casemiro has now served his suspension, which could make it difficult for McTominay to earn regular starts moving forward.

A recent report claimed that the Scot had told the Red Devils that he wants to leave this summer in order to secure regular starts at this stage of his career.

However, it has also been suggested that Man United head coach Erik ten Hag does not want to actively sell the midfielder despite the recent speculation.

According to The Sun, the 20-time English champions will not allow McTominay to leave in the upcoming market unless they receive an offer of at least £50m.

The report claims that Man United are not planning to sell the Scot, but they are aware of the interest, and an offer of at least £50m would be difficult to turn down.

Newcastle were heavily linked with McTominay in January, but Ten Hag was not prepared to let him leave in the middle of the campaign due to the volume of matches.

The midfielder still has another two years left to run on his contract at Old Trafford, with the option of an additional 12 months.

In all competitions, he has represented Man United on 205 occasions, scoring 19 goals and registering five assists in the process.

Having scored in a positive performance against Everton on Saturday, McTominay will now be hoping to keep his spot in the XI for Thursday's Europa League quarter-final first leg with Sevilla.
