Barcelona have reportedly failed with their efforts to offload Ousmane Dembele before the end of the January transfer window.
With the Frenchman having little interest in penning fresh terms at Camp Nou, the Catalan giants informed their player that he would depart Camp Nou.
As well as interest from Premier League clubs such as Chelsea and Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain have also been strongly linked with the 24-year-old.
However, according to The Mirror, Dembele will now remain at Barcelona, partly due to PSG being unable to afford him during this window.
The report claims that the French outfit have not been able to reduce their wage bill sufficiently to make room for the attacker.
While Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is an admirer of Dembele, who he has previously coached, any move to Stamford Bridge would take place in the summer.
