Manchester United have reportedly lodged a bid for Dundee United midfielder Ryan Gauld.
The 17-year-old, who has scored five goals in 16 first-team appearances for the Terrors this season, has been watched by the likes of Liverpool, Newcastle United and Everton in recent weeks.
However, the Red Devils are said to be keen to get ahead of the competition in the race for Gauld's signature.
According to The People, the Old Trafford club have offered an initial payment of £3m, with an additional promise to play three money-spinning friendlies against the Scottish Premiership side.
Gauld is said to be valued at around £6m by his current club.
