England manager Roy Hodgson will reportedly start Wayne Rooney and Daniel Sturridge up front in all three of their pre-World Cup warm-up games.
The Three Lions host Peru this Friday, before friendlies with Ecuador and Honduras in Miami on June 7 and 10 respectively.
Hodgson suggested in a press conference that his forwards a chance to strike up a partnership ahead of next month's tournament in Brazil.
"We haven't really seen them [together], have we?" he said.
"We've seen an awful lot of the Sturridge-Suarez partnership at Liverpool but not a lot of Rooney-Sturridge partnership because they haven't had a lot of time to play together.
"Now's our chance. From the time we get to St George's Park we start to move away from bigger focus on fitness and getting people in the right shape to tactical preparation."
Liverpool striker Sturridge netted 21 goals last term, while Manchester United forward Rooney scored 17.
