Newcastle United Alan Pardew has pleaded guilty to a charge of misconduct.
The 51-year-old was handed the charge by the Football Association for pushing linesman Peter Kirkup during his side's 2-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday evening.
"We have to do the procedure that has to take place and we are following that through," Pardew told reporters this evening.
"We are doing a letter on my call on what I thought happened at the weekend.
"But we have pleaded guilty and we will go to see the FA and see what punishment is going to come to fruition."
The FA will now decide what punishment they will give to the former West Ham United boss.
