Daryl Janmaat has insisted that Alan Pardew is the only man whom the Newcastle United players want in charge at St James' Park.
Pardew saw his future with the Magpies come under heavy scrutiny following a seven-game winless run at the start of the Premier League season.
However, Janmaat believes that consecutive victories over Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur have 'eased the pressure' on the 53-year-old, and is confident that he is the right man to lead their resurgence up the table.
"The pressure has eased. We want him as the manager," he told reporters.
"The manager was under a lot of pressure so it's nice that we have given him some points.
"I now expect the pressure to ease on him. We do not want another manager."
Dutch World Cup star Janmaat, who joined Newcastle from Feyenoord for £5m in the summer, is expected to start when they visit Manchester City in the Capital One Cup fourth round on Wednesday night.
