The agent of Dan Gosling has revealed that the Newcastle United midfielder is closing in on a move to Crystal Palace.
The 23-year-old has agreed personal terms with the Eagles, but a fee now needs to be settled between the two clubs.
"He has had his talks with Crystal Palace and everything is agreed," David Hodgson told The Chronicle. "A permanent deal is the intention and all parties would be happy with that."
Gosling was given his professional debut by Palace boss Ian Holloway seven years ago when the pair worked together at Plymouth Argyle.
