Wembley to host Euro 2020 final?

The Football Association have put forward Wembley as a potential host venue for the Euro 2020 final.

It is understood that the president of UEFA Michel Platini is entertaining the prospect of a number of cities across Europe hosting the event.

The FA have put forward Wembley to host the final, which would also mean that it would host both semi-final matches.

Platini reportedly wants one city to host the climax of the event with each set of regional fixtures taking place in another country.
