Norwich City boss Alex Neil has revealed that he and his players are relishing tomorrow's Premier League opener against Crystal Palace.
The Canaries welcome Palace to Carrow Road for what will be their first top-flight match since the 2013-14 campaign.
Having won five of their seven friendlies this summer, Neil is embracing the challenge of establishing Norwich in the Premier League once again.
"We've been looking forward to this game since pre-season began," he told the club's official website. "You do all your work during the week looking at one thing, and that's the game on Saturday.
"There should be steel and determination from the players. Ultimately if there is not, then I've got a problem and they've got a problem. We want everybody fighting for every second in every game, and I expect that to be the case."
Neil joined Norwich in January from Hamilton Academical before guiding the team to promotion via the playoffs.
