Oldham Athletic manager Lee Johnson has revealed that the club have secured the emergency-loan signing of Huddersfield Town striker Jon Stead.
Stead, who reportedly turned down a move to Coventry City earlier this week, is expected to remain at Boundary Park throughout February, and Johnson tweeted that the 30-year-old will go straight into the squad for their game with Swindon Town on Saturday.
Just managed to sneak in @jonstead9 before the window shuts ( emergency loan) ... Goes straight into the squad for Swindon @OfficialOAFC

The former Bristol City forward has scored just once in 14 appearances for the Terriers this campaign.
