Peterborough manager Darren Ferguson has expressed his delight at his side's 3-0 win against fellow Championship strugglers Bristol City.
The win was Posh's first of 2012, and Ferguson singled out Gabriel Zakuani and double goalscorer Lee Tomlin for special praise after the game.
"The most important thing was that we were more aggressive off the ball, with everyone sticking to the game plan," Ferguson said.
"In defence Gabi Zakuani - again playing through the pain barrier with an injured toe - was fantastic, winning everything in the air. He was outstanding, just as he has been most of the season."
"Lee [Tomlin] can drive you mad at times but some of the stuff he did against City was fantastic and I was really pleased for him."
The win puts Peterborough in 18th place in the Championship, nine points clear of the relegation zone.
