Highly-rated goalkeeper Simon Eastwood has revealed that he wants to remain with Portsmouth next season.
The 23-year-old, who has been on a month-to-month contract this season, has been linked with a host of League One outfits.
However, the shot-stopper has insisted that the club can bounce straight back into League One if they keep the majority of their squad together.
"We have some good players here and I think we could do well if we can keep the squad together," he told the club's official website.
"It will be challenging, but it's certainly something we are all looking forward to. It'll be nice to sign a proper contract.
"We've had a sit down and spoken about things, but I appreciate playing for a club like this."
Pompey Supporters' Trust recently completed a takeover of the club.
