Queens Park Rangers have completed the signing of Jay Emmanuel-Thomas on a free transfer after his release from Bristol City.
The 24-year-old has put pen to paper on a three-year contract with QPR after his contract at Bristol City expired following their promotion to the Championship from League One.
Both Rangers head coach Chris Ramsey and director of football Les Ferdinand said that Emmanuel-Thomas would be given the "platform" to prove himself in West London.
"I've always admired Jay from afar, and I'm really delighted we've reached an agreement to bring him here," Ramsey told the club website.
"There was a lot of hype surrounding him when he was a young player at Arsenal, and although he's had a very steady career since then, this is now a real opportunity for him to really kick on at QPR.
"We'll give him the platform to play and express himself. He's got flair, he's a good runner with the ball and he's got great versatility."
Emmanuel-Thomas joined Bristol from Ipswich Town two years ago, going on to score 33 goals in all competitions for the Robins.
