A commission appointed by the SPL reportedly decide against stripping Rangers of their league titles following a probe into alleged irregular payments to players.

Rangers will reportedly not be stripped of their league titles following an investigation into alleged irregular payments to players.

A commission appointed by the Scottish Premier League was asked to investigate accusations that the company, who previously owned the Gers, made payments to players that were not properly registered with the football authorities.

Following the probe, it is understood that the club will not be stripped of their league titles, but could face other sanctions if they are deemed in breach of the rules, according to BBC Sport.

HM Revenue and Customs had alleged that the scheme, which ensured that payments made to players were in the form of tax-free loans, was illegal.
