Former Everton winger Royston Drenthe has agreed to move to Reading on a free transfer.
Drenthe will leave Russian side Alania Vladikavkaz to move the Madejski Stadium on a two-year deal, if international clearance is received from the Russian football authorities.
The 26-year-old previously played for Real Madrid, before going on to make 27 appearances in a season-long loan spell at Everton during the 2011-12 campaign.
The former Feyenoord player has also made one appearance for the Netherlands.
