Real Madrid boss Rafael Benitez has revealed his "great satisfaction" at having the chance to work with Cristiano Ronaldo.
It had been claimed that Ronaldo could leave the Bernabeu this summer following the sacking of Carlo Ancelotti.
However, such rumours have died down in recent weeks and new Los Blancos head coach Benitez is looking forward to working with the Portuguese international in the new campaign.
"He is a key player for us. The fact he is here with all the group is a great satisfaction," Benitez told the club's official website.
"Knowing him and starting to talk about the things I think and that he thinks will allow us to improve in terms of the dynamic of the group."
Ronaldo has scored 313 goals in 300 games for Real Madrid and hit a season-best of 61 during the 2014-15 campaign.
