Real Madrid are reportedly ready to halt contract discussions with defender Sergio Ramos.
The club legend has less than five months remaining on his existing deal at the Bernabeu, leaving him in a position where he can speak with foreign clubs.
Preferring to ensure that they do not lose the 34-year-old on a free transfer, this has led to Real officials holding talks with the veteran's representatives.
However, according to Marca, further negotiations will not be held until Ramos has recovered from a knee injury.
The Spain international is not expected to return to action until April, leaving Real chiefs prepared to bide their time due to the financial implications of the coronavirus pandemic.
Ramos's last appearance came in the Supercopa de Espana fixture with Athletic Bilbao on January 14.
