Toni Kroos will reportedly begin contract talks with Real Madrid next week.
The German international, who is believed to have turned down interest from Manchester City in the summer, is currently contracted to his Spanish club until 2020.
However, according to Marca, Real Madrid want to extend the midfielder's contract by another "two or three years" and will officially start talks with the 26-year-old once he has returned from international action.
Kroos moved to the Bernabeu from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2014 and has made 101 appearances for the Spanish giants, in addition to winning one Champions League title.
