Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is reportedly not prepared to lose Sergio Ramos this summer.
Over the weekend, it was claimed that Ramos was considering his future having become frustrated at the Bernabeu.
Manchester United and Liverpool have since both reportedly contacted the centre-back's representatives to determine whether the 33-year-old is for sale this summer.
However, according to Marca, Zidane considers Ramos to be 'essential' to his plans moving forward and the returning head coach 'is confident' that the Spain international will not depart this summer.
The Madrid captain scored 11 times in all competitions for Los Blancos during the 2018-19 campaign despite the fact that he missed the latter stages of the season with a calf problem.
The defender's current deal in the Spanish capital will expire in the summer of 2021.
