Real Sociedad sporting director Loren has admitted that former boss David Moyes repeatedly struggled to get his message across to the players during his time in charge of the Basque club.
Earlier this month, Moyes was relieved of his duties at Sociedad following a disappointing start to the season, with former Barcelona B boss Eusebio Sacristan appointed as the Scot's replacement.
Loren has claimed that Moyes 'did not find the key' to get the most out of the players during his time at San Sebastian.
"A coach who spent 10 years at Everton was coming and who had a high capacity, but we haven't been capable, all of us, players and technical staff, of making the team successful and he couldn't be here more than a year," Loren told Marca.
"I think the coach didn't find the key to getting more from the players and they failed to understand what he wanted from them in matches. They're all below their level and should have given more."
Sociedad, who have only won two of their 11 La Liga games this season, return to action at home to Sevilla this weekend.
