Rudi Garcia backs Roma to go through

Roma coach Rudi Garcia claims that making it through to the last 16 of the Champions League would be an "incredible" feat for his side.

Roma coach Rudi Garcia has admitted that reaching the last 16 of the Champions League instead of Manchester City would be "incredible".

The Group E rivals meet at the Stadio Olimpico on Wednesday night, with the winner likely to join Bayern Munich in the next round of the competition.

Garcia concedes that his side are up against tough opposition in the Premier League champions, but he is confident that the Giallorossi can get the right result to go through.

"We need to make the most of every moment," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "We're looking to pull it off. A win would be incredible.

"We know that City are a good side and it will be very tough tomorrow, but I'm sure we can do it. Every match is important, but tomorrow's is special because it's like a cup final.

"The fact that we are still in the race means that we have quality. Credit to us that we still have the chance to play this cup final in front of our fans at a passionate Olimpico."

Roma are currently on an unbeaten run of five matches in all competitions.
