Italy coach Cesare Prandelli has admitted that he is considering how best to handle Pablo Daniel Osvaldo after his public outburst aimed at Roma coach Aurelio Andreazzoli earlier today.
Osvaldo launched a scathing attack on Andreazzoli after being left out of his side to face Lazio in yesterday's 1-0 defeat in the Coppa Italia final.
Prandelli has conceded that he is yet to decide if the forward's behaviour will cost him a place in the Azzurri squad for next month's Confederations Cup in Brazil.
He told reporters: "I need to reflect in order to understand what has happened. I want to talk with the leaders at Roma and then you will know if there will be any consequences.
"I have considerations that I have to make, but I have not seen in detail what has happened. I want to understand that and then take any decisions.
"His tweet? I do not want to comment, I want to maintain a certain seriousness in dealing with these matters."
The 27-year-old had been named in Prandelli's provisional 31-man squad for the trip to Brazil and is due to join the Azzurri later this week ahead of Friday's friendly with San Marino.
