Swedish youth international forward Valmir Berisha appears to be on the verge of joining Roma.
The 17-year-old, who currently plays for Halmstads BK, had been heavily linked with a move to Sunderland.
However, Berisha is now close to agreeing a switch to the Stadio Olimpico, where he hopes to strike a partnership with club legend Francesco Totti.
"Roma is a big club, it might be a dream to play for that club," Berisha told Fotbollskanalen.se.
"Berisha and Totti sounds like a dream. But I believe he will retire before I reach the first team. It will be the Under-21 team for me at the club I join."
It is understood that Berisha held talks at Sunderland, but that the Black Cats were unable to convince him to move to Wearside.
