Rotherham United have added Kirk Broadfoot to their ranks, securing the former Blackpool defender on a two-year contract.
The 29-year-old Scot stays in the Championship with the newly-promoted Millers after his release from Blackpool.
"It has taken a little while to get done because of the significant interest there was in Kirk," Rotherham boss Steve Evans told the club website.
"There will be some disappointed managers today. We had to work ever so hard to get him here and I am delighted to have got the deal over the line."
Broadfoot made 65 league appearances for Blackpool in the last two seasons after joining them from Rangers in 2012.
