Sevilla have handed a new contract to highly-rated youngster Carlos Fernandez.
The 17-year-old, who made his first-team debut in the Copa del Rey against Racing Santander this season, has made two La Liga appearances for the Spanish outfit this season.
His progress through the youth system is believed to have attracted the interest of a number of European clubs, but Sevilla have now extended the forward's contract until 2018.
Fernandez, who is expected to feature on a regular basis next season, is also a regular member of the Spain Under-19 set-up.
