Report: Italian trio chase Southampton's Gaston Ramirez

Napoli, Inter Milan and Lazio are all reported to be chasing Southampton's attacking midfielder Gaston Ramirez.

Three Serie A clubs are reportedly keen to sign Gaston Ramirez from Southampton in January.

Recent speculation has suggested that the Uruguayan, who has struggled to establish in the Southampton starting lineup since manager Mauricio Pochettino took charge in January, has decided to leave the St Mary's Stadium in the winter.

It is also believed that the 22-year-old would favour a switch to Italy, where he made a name for himself with Bologna prior to his move to the Premier League last summer.

That has alerted Napoli, Inter Milan and Lazio, all of whom are eager to recruit the playmaker either on loan or on a permanent basis, according to The Mirror.

Ramirez has scored two goals this season, both of which have come in the Capital One Cup.
