Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has claimed that Harry Kane is in good spirits as he begins his recovery from an ankle injury.
Last weekend, Kane sustained ligament damage during the first half of the 4-1 victory over Bournemouth, and there were initial fears that the 24-year-old could miss the rest of the season.
However, Kane has already revealed that he is targeting a return to training next month, and Pochettino admits that the England international is feeling positive about the setback.
At a press conference, the 46-year-old told reporters: "No, he's very positive. He was positive after the game. His character is always to be optimistic.
"He's positive and now he's trying to be focused on recovering as soon as possible."
Kane has scored 35 goals in 39 matches in all competitions this season.
