Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli has reportedly been left frustrated at Jose Mourinho after he was dropped from the Portuguese's starting lineup without explanation.
The 24-year-old has starred for Spurs over the past few seasons but has fallen out of favour recently, with Alli not in Mourinho's squad for Tottenham's last three Premier League games.
The England international did start for Spurs in their Europa League showdown with Royal Antwerp, but even then he lasted just 45 minutes before being hauled off in a 1-0 defeat.
Now, the Daily Mail reports that Alli is yet to receive clarity from Mourinho as to why he has suddenly been dropped from the squad, and there is no animosity between the pair, but Alli's playing situation is unlikely to change given Spurs' recent strong form.
As a result, the report suggests that Paris Saint-Germain could potentially return with another loan offer for Alli in January, and Spurs may allow the Englishman to depart for the French capital despite blocking an exit over the summer.
Alli is contracted to Spurs until 2024, where he has registered 63 goals in 228 matches since making his debut in 2015.
