Gareth Bale says that Tottenham Hotspur will start winning sooner rather than later.

Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale is confident that his side's luck will change sooner rather than later.

Spurs have endured a frustrating start to the season after losing at Newcastle United on the opening weekend before being held by West Bromwich Albion at home on Saturday.

However, the Wales international is certain that his side will start to come good.

"We just need the luck to turn a little," said Bale. "We're playing some great stuff and not getting the rub of the green.

"We put a lot of crosses in that flew across the face of goal and it just needs a foot on one, the ball goes in and that makes the game more comfortable. It was frustrating [against West Brom] and everyone was disappointed, but we pick ourselves up.

"We'll take the positives out of the games, not let our heads drop, keep doing what we're doing and I'm sure the goals will start coming. It just needs to click for us and I'm sure it will sooner rather than later."

Spurs host Norwich City on Saturday.
