Rafa van der Vaart has said that last night's 3-3 draw with Arsenal "felt like a victory".
The Gunners, playing on home turf in the north London derby, came back from 3-1 to earn a crucial point.
Speaking to the club's official site, the Dutch midfielder said: "The spirit here is fantastic and this feels a bit like a victory. It was a great game, an open game and both teams wanted to win. We all enjoyed it, the speed was unbelievable.
"We fought to the end and you could see with our fans it was a fantastic night and we picked up a hard-fought point."
Last night Van der Vaart scored the first and third goals for Spurs, his first since February. "You always want to score goals but sometimes you need a bit of luck for the goals to come your way,” he added. "Maybe I haven’t had that recently but it was great to be back among the goals again, especially in such a big game."
Tottenham next play West Brom in a home fixture on Saturday. Kickoff is at 15.00.
