Tottenham Hotspur defender Kevin Wimmer has described the club as being "like a big family".
The 23-year-old signed a new five-year contract on Thursday.
The Austrian made 21 appearances, 10 of which were in the Premier League, during his first season at White Hart Lane in the 2015-16 campaign.
Mauricio Pochettino's side launched a title challenge, but ended up dropping off the pace in the closing stages to finish third.
"People say we all have good mentalities here at the club - the people are very nice and we are like a big family," Wimmer told the club's official website. "I think the team spirit is very good in our team.
"The training sessions, especially in pre-season, are very tough and everybody is tired but we still sometimes go out together for lunch or for dinner.
"We don't just train and then everybody goes home - it's nice to spend time with the guys off the pitch. We have very nice guys here and I think you can say that we are like a family."
Wimmer stepped into the centre-back role during Jan Vertonghen's lengthy injury absence.
