Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly identified Paulo Henriques Ganso as a January transfer target.
According to The Mirror, the North London club will make a move for the 22-year-old after failing to land Porto star Joao Moutinho.
Spurs had a £22m bid accepted for the Portuguese international on transfer deadline day, but talks broke down due to personal terms.
Despite getting negotiations back on track, the two parties were unable to reach an agreement before the window closed.
Reports have suggested that Ganso, who has eight caps for Brazil, could cost around £8m.
Brazilian sides Sao Paulo and Fluminese are also believed to be monitoring the situation.
