Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly preparing a £40m bid for Roma attacker Nicolo Zaniolo as the Champions League finalists look to secure a summer deal for the teenager.
Zaniolo joined Roma from Inter Milan last June, and the two-time Italy international has scored six times in 35 appearances for his Italian club during the 2018-19 campaign.
The likes of Real Madrid, Arsenal, Juventus and Real Madrid have all been credited with an interest in the 19-year-old, but according to The Mirror, Tottenham are lining up a £40m swoop.
Zaniolo still has four years left to run on the contract that he penned upon his arrival, placing Roma in a strong position when it comes to any potential negotiations in this summer's transfer window.
Tottenham also continue to be linked with Fulham's Ryan Sessegnon, although the London club will reportedly face strong competition from Manchester United ahead of the 2019-2020 campaign.
