Stoke City manager Tony Pulis believes that his side's pre-season schedule will not affect the players before the new season.
The Premier League outfit are due to travel to the United States for a tour following a stint at a training base in Austria.
"There will be some travelling involved, but it is during the summer and not in the middle of the season," Pulis told The Sentinel.
"And the internal flights between venues will only be about two hours each, so that's just like jumping on a coach to Bristol. Obviously the trip to and from America will be difficult, but overall I think the travelling is manageable."
Stoke will compete in matches in Ohio, Missouri and Florida over a two-week period from July 24.
