Michael Laudrup has revealed that Swansea City's passing style suits the way that he is looking to manage the club.
The Danish boss was yesterday named as the successor to Brendan Rodgers, who took charge of Liverpool just over a fortnight ago.
Looking ahead to his new role at the Liberty Stadium, the 48-year-old admitted that there is plenty of work to be done before the start of pre-season next month.
"I've spoken to the chairman and I'm very pleased to sign for Swansea City," he told the club's official website. "It's going to be a new experience for me and I'm really looking forward to it.
"I've spoken to many people about Swansea and watched a number of their games on DVD - with many more to watch!
"Everyone knows the style of football Swansea play and it suits my way of thinking."
Laudrup has signed a two-year contract with the Swans.
